Anne Arninkhof is an illustrator/author from Utrecht, The Netherlands
Before joining the MA Children’s Book Illustration Anne worked in museum education and as a policy maker, developing subsidy schemes for arts and heritage projects in The Netherlands. Having MA’s in Cultural Management and Modern Art History she always had a passion for the arts but never the courage to become a maker herself. This all changed when she turned 30 and decided to take the plunge and enroll at the Cambridge School of Arts.
Anne’s main sources of inspiration are modern art, philosophy, early cinema, lavish interiors, horror films and the future as it was envisioned in the first half of the 20th century.
